Chris Hemsworth's favourite restaurant

Chris Hemsworth just revealed his favourite restaurant in Abu Dhabi

When it comes to dining in Abu Dhabi, we know the capital has plenty of very strong choices – and Chris Hemsworth agrees.

The best restaurants in Abu Dhabi range from delicious Chinese food to some of the best Italian you’ll ever have. But Thor’s top pick? Zuma (and we don’t blame him one bit).

Known for its sleek Japanese cuisine, Zuma has earned a spot in the hearts (and stomachs) of the Hemsworth family – no easy feat considering Chris’ kids are seasoned critics of Japanese food.

Speaking to Condé Nast Traveller Middle East, Chris said: “[My favourite restaurant] A Japanese restaurant called Zuma. Our kids are tough critics when it comes to Japanese food, and they were as impressed by this place as were we. They have so many choices, it’s incredible.”

During their visits to Abu Dhabi, Hemsworth and his wife Elsa Pataky have embraced all that the city has to offer, from dune buggies and indoor skydiving to exploring local culture through Experience Abu Dhabi.

“We live in Australia,” Chris explained to Condé Nast Traveller, “and the long haul between there and Europe is daunting with three kids, so we started stopping over in Abu Dhabi and just fell in love with the place.”

Now, though (after falling further in love with the capital) it’s no longer just a stopover for the superstar. This totally makes sense if you ask us, as there are plenty of things to do, whether your focus is on adventure, relaxation, or fine dining.
